Where the Backroads Remember
A Halloween story from the Alberta backroads — an empty house, a cold blue porch light, and one night that never quite let go.
DEBT, DIRT & DEFIANCE: TAKE THE TRUCK
Take the Truck" is more than just a song about repossession—it’s a middle finger to the system. It’s the raw, acoustic pulse of the Northern
Frontier, proving that they can take your chrome and your rust, but they can’t touch the fire burning inside. Andrea McRae delivers a gritty
anthem for anyone who’s ever been down to their last dime but still stood their ground. Raw. Unfiltered. Real.
THE ARTIST IN FOCUS
Andrea McRae brings a northern Canadian perspective to modern country and Americana. Rooted in traditional country and the independent spirit of Outlaw Country, her songs are built around stories hard choices, stubborn people, open country and the lives lived between them. Acoustic roots meet a darker modern edge in what has become her Canadian Yellowstone Sound: raw, direct and
unmistakably northern.
In October 2026, Andrea turns that storytelling toward the darker side of the backroads with Halloween on the Gravel Roads — four Country and Americana stories built around empty roads, old gates, strange lights and October nights.
Her debut album, South of My Heart, arrives in 2026.
